Valeria Slapak Brown
My name is Valeria Slapak Brown, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. During therapy sessions I offer my clients the space and the time to explore, define and gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships to others and to the world. Turning difficult feelings into words, helps making meaning of human experience. This is the best way to take control of strong emotions, instead of them controlling us. During these trying times, life demands can feel overwhelming. Talking to an experienced and caring therapist can bring some much needed relief. Please call me or email me for a free consultation.
Free Your Mind Counseling, Inc.
I am a solution focused therapist with 6 years of experience working with individuals and families to help them reach their goals. I get to know my clients and incorporate meaningful activities into our therapeutic sessions to help them work through the issues that are causing them disruption in their lives. I know that life can be difficult due to many different issues. Whatever the issue is, I am happy to work with clients to help them figure out how to overcome it. My primary objective is to help clients remove barriers to personal success and take steps toward autonomy through the promotion of mental health. I am able to provide this service in both English and Spanish. In addition to being a bilingual mental health therapist, I am a seasoned educator with 13 years of classroom teaching experience. Over the years, I have gained beneficial experience that has helped form my counseling philosophy that we all have room to grow. Lao Tzu said it best when he coined the phrase, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." We are all on a journey in this life and start at different places along the path. It doesn't matter where any one of us starts, it just matters that we take that first step and keep on going.

Rooted Arrow Counseling
It takes a lot of strength and bravery to reach out for help. My approach is relationship-centered, as I believe healing and change take place when we feel connected to others. I truly admire the courage clients have in sharing their story and being vulnerable with me. Using a holistic and strengths-based approach, my hope is that clients feel connected, heard, valued, and worthy. It's an honor for me to witness a client's authentic voice, to see their dedication to making changes, and to witness them thrive. I'd love to support you. Coming alongside clients in collaboration, I believe a flexible approach that best fits the individual's needs is most effective. Healing and Growth Counseling, PLLC (Kate Tower, LCSW)
Hello! My name is Kate, and I've been a therapist for 15 years, and a virtual therapist for 3 years. I have a Masters in Social Work and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I love working with people of all ages, and enjoy addressing a diverse array of issues that impair us from being our best selves. In addition to myself, I work with 4 co-therapists; 3 dogs and a cat! They occassionally make brief appearances during sessions to provide their insight. I generally approach therapy as an equal meeting of you, as the expert on yourself, and me, as someone who can give some qualified insight and ask good questions to guide you to your own answers. I tend to be warm and engaging, and I pull the most from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), although I also use certain tools from other modalities, as well. In our sessions, we will work together to target the areas in which you would like to grow, give you the tools you need in order to produce the desired growth, and tackle sticking points and struggles as you work on applying what we discuss in therapy. I generally will give "homework" between sessions to help you continue to think about and apply what we are working on in your daily life, but it's nothing intense, I promise! Most clients find the "homework" really helpful and even fun, sometimes.

I am a clinical psychologist with over 30 years of experience. If you’re a college student navigating stress, anxiety, academic pressures, or life transitions, you’re not alone. As a clinical psychologist working from a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, I help young adults develop practical skills to manage their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors more effectively. CBT is an evidence-based approach that focuses on identifying and changing unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, or self-doubt, therapy can provide you with tools to build resilience, confidence, and a greater sense of well-being. I am a Master’s Level Intern in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Ball State University. I'm working with Associates in Behavioral Counseling under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. I work with all ages, from young children to older adults, who experience relationship/family concerns, depression, grief, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, and behavioral disorders. Sessions will always be person-centered, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed. My approach to therapy is holistic, mind-body oriented, and rooted in mindfulness. I also pull from emotionally-focused therapy, attachment-based therapy, and expressive arts therapy. I believe that the therapy should fit the person, not the other way around. So, I may pull from other modalities that will benefit you the most.

Family Psychology of South Bend
Hi, I'm Heather, a licensed counselor. I specialize in Eating Disorder treatment, and I always have a heart for healing the relationship with food and your body. I also have extensive experience treating individuals with anxiety and depression, which are common for people to suffer without knowing quite how to make it better, or if that’s even possible. I'm willing to integrate spiritual faith into sessions, and will provide supportive acceptance of your belief system. I view my clients not as hopeless or crazy, but simply as genuine people going through a rough time in their life, who need a little help finding their path. With patience and understanding, I can help you find yours too, using an Adlerian framework and teaching skills grounded in DBT, ACT, and/or CBT. I am passionate to help every one of my clients let go of judgment and learn to accept themselves and their imperfections. My energy and enthusiasm for the power of positive thinking are balanced by my ability to meet you where you are with empathy and understanding. Call my office today, and Sarah will get you started!

The choice to seek therapy demonstrates an openness to growth and commitment to well-being. I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment in which I understand that each of us has a unique set of strengths and challenges that shape who we are and how we experience relationships. In my collaborative work with individuals, couples, young children, and families, we focus on developing insight and establishing new strategies to overcome difficult patterns or concerns.
