Quick changes or sudden shifts in life can be both confusing and scary. You might feel lost or weighed down by heavy pressure as you go through new transitions. Whether it's coming from work, family, friends, or other circumstances, the pressures you face can take a toll on both your mind and body. This external stress may lead to resentment, pain, or even self-blame. Carrying these burdens alone can leave you feeling discouraged, timid, or bad about yourself. You might try to keep pushing forward without addressing the problem because you feel you can’t afford to stop. But trying to handle everything by yourself, or all at once, can lead you to feeling overwhelmed or alone. You are not alone—letting go is possible. You deserve relief, peace, and happiness.

As a first-generation Asian American, I deeply understand the challenges of balancing the expectations of home and society, while also feeling responsible for more than just ourselves.
I also believe in the importance of learning to forgive— ourselves and others—when things don’t go as planned.

With over a decade of experience in client services and several years of counseling diverse student populations at multiple universities, I take an approach that combines both accountability and empathy, especially when working with situations or individuals who may be unpredictable. I believe that by shedding light on the possibilities, we can begin to see how we can grow from the very things that once caused us pain.

You can overcome your fears and struggles. It’s okay to be yourself and to feel the satisfaction of defining who you are. I’d love to offer the energy, support, and guidance you need to cultivate self-approval. I’m here to help you release your burdens, find direction, and grow into the person you can appreciate and love.
