Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC
Accepting clients Last Updated 27 days ago

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Foresight. I have over 13 years of clinical experience working with children, teens and adults across a broad cultural spectrum to address a range of concerns including anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, mood disorders, family changes, interpersonal issues, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. I have volunteer experience with non-profits such as Houston-Galveston Institute walk-in clinic, and as a facilitator of grief groups at Bo’s Place for families who have lost a loved one. I have an eclectic approach to therapy, depending on the needs of the client, but always emphasizing the uniqueness and strengths of the client, and striving to provide a safe, warm and supportive environment. I received a Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. I utilize various evidenced based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) and like to use therapeutic art activities and other expressive means to help my clients express themselves also non-verbally. I hold a Diplomate status with the Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy. I consider myself a lifelong learner.
