Life is full of challenges and changes that may require guidance in difficult seasons. Rachel empowers her clients by helping them recognize their strengths and finding how to live their most fulfilling lives. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, addiction, social difficulties, or a major life change, Rachel is here to walk with you to help you gain peace, purpose, and connection in your life.

Rachel is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Tennessee. She is a Nashville native with her Masters of Science from Lipscomb University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a play-therapy specialization and her Bachelors of Science from Belmont University in Psychology. Rachel has a wide variety of experience with children, adolescents, college students, and adult women. Some of this work includes women struggling with addiction, college students going through major life transitions, and adolescents experiencing a variety of mood disorders and behavioral concerns including self-harm.

Rachel has experience with solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy to help clients challenge and change negative thoughts and patterns that leave them feeling stuck. She additionally utilizes creativity and art in her therapy to reach new break-throughs and healing. She believes that every person’s journey is different, so their therapy should be too.

When Rachel isn’t working, you can find her spending time with her dog, reading, singing, playing guitar, or traveling. Rachel is always ready to chat about things that bring out her inner child like Disney, Harry Potter, or the Hunger Games trilogy. She has a great sense of humor and loves to find reasons to laugh.

If you or a loved one is looking for a fun, compassionate, and skilled guide to empower you in your mental health journey, Rachel may be a great fit for you.
