Melanie Burnett
Have you been living at the heartbreak hotel? Do you feel like you are constantly reminded of the pain and burdens life has thrown at you? Yes, I know. I see you. I empathize with you, and I recognize your strength.
Throughout life, we sometimes lose our sense of self due to the different hardships we have encountered. And through therapy, we can explore and process your pain, moving you out of the heartbreak hotel and into a safe place full of restoration and healing.
I specialize in working with BIPOC women and teen girls dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, shame, grief, and relationship issues. My therapy approach often aligns with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), designed to help you incorporate skills into your life that will help you healthily navigate painful thoughts and emotions.
As someone who struggled with anxiety and self-esteem issues, I understand that starting therapy can be intimidating, and I celebrate you for taking this BIG step! As you enter this new season full of renewed peace and redefined purpose, I look forward to celebrating your wins and watching you blossom into your full potential.
