Accepting clients Last Updated 6 days ago

Joe specializes in supporting students and young adults navigating the effects of trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

Joe completed clinical training at Harvard University Counseling & Mental Health Services, where he worked with students from diverse backgrounds, including those marginalized by gender, race, and sexuality, and those recovering from traumatic experiences.

Joe’s therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic theory, helping clients uncover unconscious thoughts, emotions, and behaviors by exploring how past experiences influence their current lives. This process allows clients to identify patterns and work toward meaningful, positive change.

Joe holds an MSW from the Smith College School for Social Work and a BA from American University in Washington, D.C.

Joe offers therapy online and in-person at THRIVE's Boulder, Colorado location.
