Most important is 'the fit.' Both of us need to feel good about working together. It can take a few sessions to be sure. If you have a short-term problem-like academic stress-or minor depression which takes more time, we can use various techniques to help.Stress reduction/mindfulness may help with academics, talking about depression(or grief/loss/medical problems)should help alleviate suffering. We may learn that your problems are related to your family or an event in your life that is being re triggered. What I want for you is to feel understood, safe and be able to cope.Humor helps! I am very interactive and will throw out ideas for you to consider.It takes courage to enter treatment and I respect you for that. I am not currently working with trauma, dissociation, just short term issues. I have room for four people. Thank you.
