Hi there! It is nice to meet you. My name is Amanda, and I have over a decade of experience helping adults, families, youth, and Veterans overcome a variety of challenges. I hold an MSW and am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, and Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical. My main strategies for healing include EMDR, CBT, and strengths-based therapies. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety and depression, addiction recovery, and major life transitions. Additionally, I have expertise in anger management, ADHD, bipolar disorder, dissociative disorders, family relationships, grief and bereavement, medical issues and physical health, multicultural and diversity issues, perinatal support, phobias, psychosis and schizophrenia, spirituality, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, and autism spectrum support. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth for convenient, remote sessions.

My therapeutic philosophy is centered around the belief that with hard work, self-discovery, and laughs along the way, you can heal and experience joy.
