Hello, I'm Alicia. My approach to therapy is that 'no one size fits all,' and I aim to meet you where you are in a non-judgmental space. I work with adults in individual, group, and couples therapy, helping those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and other mental health issues that can hinder a healthy, fulfilling life. All of my client relationships begin with an opportunity for you to talk and be heard. Whether you are a young professional, recent graduate, or undergoing a transition that leaves you feeling stuck at a crossroad, I have the experience to support you as you take the next step.
In our sessions, we will explore different chapters in your life, considering how the past has shaped your present, and how to set the stage for a fulfilling future. I take a solutions-oriented approach, incorporating talk therapy with mindfulness techniques. As a classically-trained pianist, I also employ therapeutic interventions using music, which can be a powerful tool in our work together.
Coming to therapy for the first time may feel intimidating, which is why I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can work together. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and I welcome all gender identities, sexual orientations, and cultures. Feel free to reach out for a free consultation or for more information. I look forward to the possibility of working with you.
